Although the Windows Server service is self-tuning, it can also be configured manually through Control Panel Service. Normally, the server configuration parameters are auto-configured (calculated and set) each time you boot Windows. In Part one you setup a Windows 2012 Cloud Server on Rackspace, then in Part two you installed HyperSQL and an SCM database. Now its time to install the WebDev WAS (Web Application Server). Remember there is a similar serious of articles for Linux servers on my site. Note: I ran into some performance issues with WebDev and Windows. Tftpd64 is a free, opensource IPv6 ready application which includes DHCP, TFTP, DNS, SNTP and Syslog servers as well as a TFTP client. The TFTP client and server are fully compatible with TFTP option support (tsize, blocksize and timeout), which allow the maximum performance when.

The content in this section describes what's new and changed in the Web Application Proxy for Windows Server 2016. The new features and changes listed here are the ones most likely to have the greatest impact as you work with the Preview.
Web Application Proxy new features in Windows Server 2016
- Preauthentication for HTTP Basic application publishingHTTP Basic is the authorization protocol used by many protocols, including ActiveSync, to connect rich clients, including smartphones, with your Exchange mailbox. Web Application Proxy traditionally interacts with AD FS using redirections which is not supported on ActiveSync clients. This new version of Web Application Proxy provides support to publish an app using HTTP basic by enabling the HTTP app to receive a non-claims relying party trust for the application to the Federation Service. For more information on HTTP basic publishing, see Publishing Applications using AD FS Preauthentication
- Wildcard domain publishing of applicationsTo support scenarios such as SharePoint 2013, the external URL for the application can now include a wildcard to enable you to publish multiple applications from within a specific domain, for example, https://*.sp-apps.contoso.com. This will simplify publishing of SharePoint apps.
- HTTP to HTTPS redirectionIn order to make sure your users can access your app, even if they neglect to type HTTPS in the URL, Web Application Proxy now supports HTTP to HTTPS redirection.
- HTTP PublishingIt is now possible to publish HTTP applications using pass-through preauthentication
- Publishing of Remote Desktop Gateway appsFor more information on RDG in Web Application Proxy, see Publishing Applications with SharePoint, Exchange and RDG
- New debug log for better troubleshooting and improved service log for complete audit trail and improved error handlingFor more information on troubleshooting, see Troubleshooting Web Application Proxy

Summary
Although the Windows Server service is self-tuning, it can also be configured manually through Control Panel Service. Normally, the server configuration parameters are auto-configured (calculated and set) each time you boot Windows. However, if you run NET CONFIG SERVER in conjunction with the
/AUTODISCONNECT
, /SERVCOMMENT
OR /HIDDEN
switches the current values for the automatically tuned parameters are displayed and written to the registry. Once these parameters are written to the registry, you can't tune the Server service using Control Panel Networks. If you add or remove system memory, or change the server size setting minimize/balance/maximize), Windows doesn't automatically tune the Server service for your new configuration. For example, if you run
NET CONFIG SRV /SRVCOMMENT
, and then add more memory to the computer, Windows doesn't increase the calculated value of autotuned entries.Typing NET CONFIG SERVER at the cmd prompt without additional parameters leaves auto tuning intact while displaying useful configuration information about the server.

More information
Adobe reader xi pro mac. The Server service supports information levels that let you set each parameter individually. For example, the command NET CONFIG SRV /HIDDEN uses information level 1016 to set just the hidden parameter. However, NET.EXE queries and sets information levels 102 (hidden, comment, users, and disc parameters) and 502. As a result, all parameters in the information level get permanently set in the Registry. SRVMGR.EXE and the Control Panel Server query and set only level 102 (not level 502) when you change the server comment.
Administrators wishing to hide Windows computers from the browse list or change the autodisconnect value should make those specific changes using REGEDT32.EXE instead of the command-line equivalents discussed above. The server comment can be edited using the description field of the Control Panel Server applet or Server Manager.
